  1. Especially enjoyed meeting Crackers, the neighbor’s friendly donkey

Your cottage here is just lovely and the views so stunning. My two year old son had a delightful week and especially enjoyed meeting Crackers, the neighbor’s friendly donkey. Thank you so much!

  2. the landscape, the sea, the air, the sheep, the music and the people

When I first came through the door of Falmore Cottage I said, “You do whatever you like, but I’ll stay here!” Loved it: the landscape, the sea, the air, the sheep, the music and the people. I’ve been coming to Ireland for over 30 years and it’s so reassuring to see that some things never change. The kindness of the Irish will never vanish, of that I am sure. Thank you for letting us stay in (your) wonderful cottage. We’ll be back!

  3. Bella and John had the house spic and span for us

Bella and John had the house spic and span for us, and were very friendly and helpful. We loved going southwards to the beaches and beautiful scenery near Portnoo, Narin and Rossbeg…We went to Letterkenny to the secondhand book and CD store and were welcomed with tea and some baked goods. Great people there.

  4. Thank you for sharing this bit of paradise with us.

What a marvellous place. We enjoyed every minute. This is a peaceful spot and people in this part of Donegal are very friendly and at ease. We cannot wait to be here again. For sure we will be back. Thank you for sharing this bit of paradise with us.

  5. It was not until I opened the door to the cottage that I fully appreciated the term 'jaw-dropping'

At first I thought the drive from Maghery was simply stunning. However, it was not until I opened the door to the cottage that I fully appreciated the term ‘jaw-dropping’. Quite simply a perfect home in a superb location…A week of total rest and relaxation. Thank you for allowing us to share, albeit briefly, in your own little piece of paradise. It has been a complete pleasure and a privilege.

  6. We watched as a double rainbow 'disappeared' into the sea

Today we watched as a double rainbow ‘disappeared’ into the sea, a fitting finale to a marvelous holiday. Good weather and a friendly interest from everyone we met made the holiday perfect. As we sat enjoying our peat fire during the evening we really felt we were ‘at home’.

  7. fallen in love with the place

This place is amazing. Driving into Falmore we couldn’t believe how beautiful it was…We have never stayed in such a well equipped, cozy house and have well fallen in love with the place…

  8. One evening we saw dolphins diving in the ocean

Clear skies and sunshine every day. One evening we saw dolphins diving in the ocean below us while we were out for a walk. We hope one day to return…

  9. The walks were rewarding and the beaches breathtaking

We couldn’t believe your cottage could be so beautiful, and once we picked ourselves off the floor, we began to enjoy our surroundings. The walks were rewarding and the beaches breathtaking …Simply stunning.
